Daffodil Day Assembly 25 August 2017

Today was the national Daffodil Day fundraiser for the Cancer Society.  We supported this initiative by having a gold coin mufti day. 

We started as usual with the National Anthem then Mrs Driver spoke about the following ask good question's,  solve problems and be the very best self you can be!

This week principals' certicates go to Neerav Singh and Jacob Holder for outstanding leadership skills in helping Room 8 with their karakia.  Kapai e tama.

Keeley Bannister received her over 100 walks to school certificate Well done Keeley!

Maths Week Finale - Chalkboard Problems 14-18 August 2017

Today we did chalk maths problems outside on the netball courts.  We had to write our problems and how we solved them as well as talk about our maths thinking!!!


We are all math geniuses!!!!

Badminton 2017

Room 16 is very fortunate to participate in badminton on Wednesday mornings.  Danny comes and teaches us how to play correctly.

To play badminton we need a racket and a shuttle.

Room 19 led the assembly while The Ukulele Group, Rooms 20 and 16 supported.

ARTraction 5th & 6th July 2017

As the finale of our recent arts week we had an Art Exhibition in our school  hall.   Parents an visitors we invited to look at our artwork - each class participated.  Our class focused on Hundertwasser "E tu ana taha i te taha - Standing side by side.  

Our artwork is based on the theme of many cultures standing side by side represented by the cityscape buildings.
